About Doug and Sharon Sanicola
In 2001, when Doug Sanicola bought a business in La Verne called “Cathy’s Cottage,” he was more interested in the property’s leasing options than he was in being a retailer. Nonetheless, he’d just come off a stint where he’d grown a company from 11 to 540 employees; in short order, he decided “to do something fabulous” with his new purchase, which he renamed Outdoor Elegance Patio Design Center.
Doug and Sharon have a heart for their community and are long-time supporters of organizations such as Leroy Haynes, Five Acres and Lupus Foundation of America.
Our Prayer . . .
God, we know that you care about the economic development in our communities. We know that You want a community to thrive and a nation to flourish. You tell us in Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
Almighty Father, we thank You for providing for the growth of Outdoor Elegance during these tough economic times. Thank You for being the source of their supply. We thank You for taking care of them and supplying all of their needs from Your glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Father, we thank you for Doug and Sharon Sanicola who recognizes that being blessed carries great responsibilities. We thank you for their continued support and prayers for the many charitable organizations that are on their heart. We ask that continue to bless them and their business so that they can continue to support those wonderful causes.
